10-year old girl certified Microsoft engineer

The career starts early for some and for Arfa Karim from Faisalabad in Pakistan it starts really early. Arfa Karim is namely a ten year old girl that passed Microsoft Certified Professional examinations last year. When she did this she was the youngest person ever to become a certified Microsoft engineer. This week Arfa Karim visited the man himself Bill Gates and got the oppurtunity to ask some  questions, among others why kids were’nt allowed to work at MS. Gates thought Arfa should continue with her studies but to be able to apply to the company’s internal program she will have to get past grade school first. The future looks bright for Arfa Karim and, if nothing else, she can always brag about having a MS-certificate at playtime.
