Nicholas Negroponte’s project One Laptop Per Child moves on and his vision about making and selling a portable computer for the neat sum of 100$ they’ve now taken one important step towards reaching reality. A couple of weeks ago we reported about the frst demo product that had been displayed and now the project has also made an agreement with a manufacturer. It’s now just any manufacturer either but the Taiwanese company Quanta, which is the world’s largest manufacturer of portable computers.
