2GB RAM standard for new games?

2GB memory kits have become more and more common as memory manufacturers launch more and more kits, and apparently this is on no coincidence. Already games that works best with 2GB RAM, Battlefield 2 e.g, has arrived, but the coming days four more games arrive, all as enticipated as they are demanding: Age Of Empires 3, Call of Duty 2, F.E.A.R and Quake 4. These and other coming games will have maps and textures that takes up enormous space and therefore both game developers and memory manufacturers that 2GB RAM will become an inofficial standard for the optimal gaming experience, not to mention Windows Vista. So you should most likely be able to expect more 2GB-kits from more or less all memory manufacturers.
