Intel displayed its coming server-processor with dual cores and 65nm technology to the public at Computex today. Intel has nicknamed the core Dempsey and is launching it with the chipset ”Blackford”. Also Intel’s coming 90nm processor called Paxville was displayed at Computex today and it will also be a part of the Xeon series. Paxville will together with Intel’s E8500 chipset create a four-way serverplatform. The most interesting with Paxville is that it will together with E8500 support indivual sytem busses for each core, which you could compare to RAID technology but fo rmemories. According to Intel both of these processors will be available at first quarter of 2006
