7800GT has to settle for 20 pipelines

Yesterday we reported on information that stated that nVidia would launch a new model in the 7800-series next month. GeForce 7800GT is a card many has been waiting for and now it seem the launch at Quakecon 2005 will happen. VR-Zone has namely received the same information regarding the date of the launch and have at the same time been able to scavenge some specifications. According to their information 7800GT will have 20 pixel pipelines compared to 24 that 7800GTX has and the GPU will be clocked at 400MHz (GTX = 430MHz). The price seems to be $449 and it is going to be interesting to how 7800GT performs, especially compared to X850 XT and 6800 Ultra.
