Small preview imageSapphire has decided to continue to water cool some of their products. This time it’s ATI’s latest monster card, the X1950XTX. Sapphire calls the card Sapphire TOXIC X1950XTX, and it one doesn’t think this card to be unique enough. Sapphire decided to release a special limited edition called “Limited Edition TOXIC CrossFire”. The only special about it is that it’s a CrossFire card to use alongside the original card. Both cards use the special water cooling designed by Sapphire and of course, better cooling means higher stock frequencies compared to other X1950XTX cards.

Through Sapphires’ A.P.E.(Automatic Performance Enhancer) software the cards were overclocked to 695MHz on the GPU, a nice gain from the stock speed of 650MHz. The increase in clock frequency has led Sapphire to call their card the worlds fastest video card, which probable’s true when it comes to single GPU cards. Another good thing is that Sapphire seems to have shrunk the cooler a little bit. As its previous model (Blizzard Radeon X1900) took a total of three expansion ports while this model only uses two. Sorry to say, we haven’t got any idea of pricing or availiability, but as usual expect that it will cost as much as all other high end cards.
