Apple has now presented its expected earnings for the fourth fiscal quarter of 2006. Even if the figures might change, slightly at most, they are still interesting. Apple expects a profit of 546 million dollar and an income of 4.84 billion dollar. A 30% increase in sales of Macintosh computers and a 35% increase of iPods sales when comparing to the same period as of last year. Almost 60% of the income comes from the company’s Macintosh computers, while over 60% of all sold Macs are portable such.
