Today, five years ago on October 23, 2001, the first iPod was launched and few were those who realized what kind of effect Apple’s first portable music player would have on the home electronics market. Even if Steve Jobs, as usual, built up a hype during the launch event. When we look back at it now we can only conclude that he was right and that he even could’ve used more superlatives to emphasize the greatness of the player.
