Firefox 2.0 isn’t the biggest update when seen of Mozilla’s browser but it’s still a highly anticipated launch of the world’s second most used browser. A clear sign for this is that Mozilla has now released information about the download frequency of its new browser. Firefox 2.0 was downloaded over 2 million times during the first 24 hours. You can compare this to the 1.5 million downloads of Firefox 1.5 and 1 million of Firefox 1.0 at their respective launches. A positive trend which is some odd way matches the version number of the browsers.
