Apple is one of the companies which supports the Blu-ray format and there have been rumors that Macs with support for the new format will come soon and most likely at the same time as the launch of Mac OS X 10.5, also known as Leopard. ThinkSecret now reports that Apple will gain access to Blu-ray units for its computers at the start of next year and that a launch of these could happen already in February. This despite the fact that Sony is in great need of these. There is no information about who supplies Apple with these Blu-ray units though.
