Microsoft has as you perhaps know ended up on the wrong side of the law according to the EU through its dominating position and its handling of it. This has led to that Microsoft was fined $361 million, but then because it didn’t submit the wanted documents in time, it did however do so eventually, but the EU stil wasn’t happy with them. Microsoft has now sent in updated documents that will hopefully satisfy the commission, 100 documents at over a total of 8 500 pages. Whether these contain what the EU is looking for remains to be seen, but it at least seems we’re heading for an end to this circus.
