Playstation 3 caused both one and two lines outside stores all over America. Unfortunately not all of these people waiting were actually interested in playing with the new console, but were instead intending to sell it on e.g. eBay at a much higher price. Now it seems that even employees at a GameStop store went so far that they made up a robbery to be able to go home with a number of consoles which they later tried to sell for several hundreds of dollars more. The whole debacle is still under investigation and they haven’t been able to locate the consoles, but this clearly shows how the lack of consoles really brings out the worst in some people.
