GeForce 8800 GTX is a high performance card which like its predecessors has had to endure a lot of tweaking. As you perhaps know G80, the circuit that 8800 GTX is based on, has a scalable architecture that makes it possible to run the shaderprocessors at 1350MHz while the core is running at just 575MHz. When you overclock the core you also overclock the shaders, but not at a 1:1 ratio. At Xtremesystems a user has made a thread about how you can change shaderprocessors’ speed and what kind of results you can achieve through this.
