DFI LANParty UT ICFX3200-T2R/G is the long name of the motherboard everyone’s been waiting for. Intel Core 2 Duo/Extreme will finally be able to experience CrossFire the way it was meant to be played. ATI’s new chipset ended up in a tight spot when AMD decided to acquire ATI, but DFI remained certain of their cause and kept developing the board, which we’re all of course very happy for. DFI LANParty UT ICFX3200-T2R/G comes with support for ATI’s physics solution through its third PCIe x16 slot and with its digital six phase PWM, and DFI’s promises of quality and stability even under extreme conditions, there is nothing but high expectations left now.
The card brings support for DDR2-1066 and voltages up to 3.2V, including the possibility to adjust voltages for northbridge, southbridge, CPU (duh), and more.
We know for a fact that cards are on their way and in some cases already in the hands of enthusiasts and overclockers and we hope to be able to report about results as soon as possible.
