Toshiba is now reported to have launched its second generation HD DVD players on the American market and several users at AVS Forum have said that they have been able to spot the new Toshiba HD-A2 HD DVD player in stores. Even if Toshiba HD-A1, the first generation HD DVD player, was a good player in many ways there were some bugs and immaturities and from what it seems Toshiba has learned from its mistakes. The first reports point to that the A2 model is considerably better in most ways, where faster loading times and a better remote are some of the significant improvements. Now we’re just waiting for Toshiba to launch its HD DVD players in Europe…
