Even if Nintendo hasn’t won anything yet it has at least bested Sony and its PlayStation 3 console during the first stages through its high sales figures. Nintendo Wii has namely set new sales records in Europe as Nintendo managed to sell 325,000 Wii consoles in just two days, counting from the launch on December 8. A nice followup to the success in USA and Japan, with over 1 million sold units in less than three weeks. Nintendo has really managed to pull the launch off in a grand style through a broad availability and exactly how much this will mean to the future sales remains to be seen, but so to speak “so far so good.”
