2007 has just begun and the journey couldn’t really have started any better for Kingpin. He has namely managed as the first person ever to break 100,000 points in 3DMark 2001. After being really close with a score at 98,500 he has now reached 100,082 points. As you perhaps know 3DMark 2001 is a test which is dependent on not only the graphics cards but very much the overall performance of the system, which then makes his achievement even more impressive as he did it at “only” 5288MHz. Of course it was an Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 which was pushed to this speed paired with two GeForce 8800GTX and an NVIDIA nForce 680i.
