ASUS GeForce 8800GTX Top will be ASUS new flagship on the graphics cards market and even if there very little concrete information available today, we have some very nice pictures of ASUS GeForce 8800GTX Top to show you. A detail which can’t be missed is that ASUS has went for a water cooling setup for its “Top model” and as the pictures reveal it is a similar model to that Sapphire has used with its Blizzard series. In other words, a separate unit with all of the water cooling components which are needed beside those on the graphics card. But ASUS seems to have a more efficient cooling of the memory circuits.
Unfortunately we don’t have any exact specifications for the card, but ASUS has chosen to present the card as follows;
“G80, watercooled, overclockable”
This probably means that the card will not be overclocked from factory, you simply have to overclock the card yourself and with the water cooling there should be plenty of room. So far only XFX has launched G80-based card which are overclocked from factory and from what it seems ASUS 8800GTX Top will be shipped with the reference frequencies. We are all looking forward to hearing what this beast will cost, which should be sometime at the end of January. Until then you will have to settle for a couple of nice high-res pictures.
