Overklokk is one of the most prominent overclockers from our neighbor country to the west Norway and his cascades are well known among overclockers and enthusiasts. Now the crazy Norwegian has set a new world record and it’s not just any record that has had to cave. Overklokk is namely the first to reach 90,000 points with 3DMark03, a really impressive achievement. The record was reached, not surprisingly, with the help of Intel’s Core 2 Extreme X6800 processor and two NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX run in SLI.
The key to the new record seems to be ASUS new motherboard P5N32E-SLI which offered both better processor and RAM overclocking. Below is the specifications for the system used and a screenshot for the first 90,000+ result with 3DMark03.
