Playstation 3 has had a far from problem-free launch. The amount of consoles that would be shipped has been reduced several times and when the console finally arrived it turned out that the launch titles didn’t measure up to the hype, but above all Sony delayed the launch in Europe. MCV now reports that Sony is planning to reveal the launch date for Europe later this month. Rumors have been passing around that the poor supply of consoles would lead to an even later launch, September, but according to Sony this is not true but we should be able to expect Playstation 3 in March. There are some split thoughts on whether we will see both versions or just the 60GB version though.
