Acrosser AR-B1892 is a so called embedded platform from Acrosser. This new model is according to the mini-ITX formfactor, but instead of using VIA’s energy efficient processors this is instead for Intel’s Core 2 Duo. The board is built around Intel’s i945GM chipset which not only offers an integrated graphics circuit but also the possibility to improve the graphics performance through the PCIe x16 slot. Acrosser claims that the minimal size and the broad functionality with many integrated functions, with good performance, makes the card a good solution for those who wants to build e.g. both gaming systems and multimedia hubs without having to settle for a large system.
