Microsoft is closing in on one of its biggest software launches ever as the retail version of Windows Vista will soon be let loose. It has already announced several different versions of the operating system, which could make it a bit tricky for people to pick the right version, but now it has added another version. Microsoft has namely released a special version of the beefiest version, Vista Ultimate Edition. The name of the special version is a piece of art by itself, Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Limited Numbered Signature Edition. The things that makes this one unique, compared to the regular Ultimate Edition, is that it has been numbered and “signed” by Bill Gates.

20,000 samples will be available and those who wants to get their hands on an exclusive Vista box should go right ahead. By the looks of it there is no differences in the actual software, which may sound a bit cheap and uninteresting, but then the prices are pretty much the same, just about $10 extra for the signed edition. Microsoft has limited this one to 20,000 samples and how they will be distributed and if there will be any other than North American such remains to be seen.

“Signed by Bill Gates himself: Windows Vista Ultimate is Microsoft’s powerful new operating system for the home and business user. Thinking of upgrading? Get this limited-availability Signature Edition signed by the world’s richest man and own a little piece of history.”
