Google has now announced that it is planning to build a new facility in North Carolina, which will act as a server hall for Google’s next generation server farm. Google is planning to invest $600 million, but to ease the expense Google has received $4.8 million from the state, with promises of another $100 million if Google continues to expand its work in North Carolina. The new facility will namely create 210 new jobs, which is very positive for the area as both furniture and textile industries have been downsizing lately. Google continues to expand like crazy and we can only imagine what kind of hardware it will use in its new facility.
