Wii is much like all other video game consoles a target for hackers, wich want to make it possible to play backups. Now the first chip for Wii has appeared; Wiinja. Wii games have been circulating since the middle of December and guides have been published about how to make your own backups, but you have never been able to play these. This chip makes this possible as long as the game is of the same region as the console. As with so many other chips it requires that you open up the console and solder a few wires. Pictures and more information can be found at emuboards. The chip can be bought at Futura, while videos confirming the function can be found at YouTube: here and here.
