Xbox 360 has been the target of many modders since the launch a year back, but the stretch from a personal modding project to a commercial product is a bit far. Although, now it seems that one of these mods has made it on to the market and it’s actually a Swedish retailer that has together with accessory manufacturer Divineo presented the product. Console.se has namely published a specially designed Xbox 360 case, which is basically the standard case from Microsoft but with a slight update, there’s namely a 5.8″ LCD display fitted into it.
The display has been connected to the video output of the console and can thus be used to play and control the functions of the console. Exactly who that is suppose to play Xbox 360 on a 5.8″ display is unclear to us, but if nothing else it certainly makes the console stand out from the crowd. The price of the modified case with the belonging LCD display is 3990SEK ($400/€400 with taxes and all) and according to Console.se the supply is limited.
