Titan has now launched its Elena TEC VGA cooler and as the name reveals it is a peltier-based cooler for graphics cards. We have seen this concept with several cards launched by different manufacturers during the last few months, for example GeCube and Sparkle. Elena TEC is the third-party model of this cooler and we wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Titan that makes the other coolers as well. Elena TEC uses a heatpipe solution for cooling the graphics core and with the help of a peltier element you can lower the temperature during load significantly.
To stop the temperature from dropping too much and cause condensation, the peltier element is turned off automatically during idle. The cooler is made from aluminum, except from the nickel-coated copper base, and uses two 80mm fans to remove the heat. Titan has made sure the cooler can be used with practically all graphics card series on the market and the only thing missing is a price.
