D-Link DIR-655 is D-link’s latest router and the thing that makes DIR-655 special is that it has been certified by Microsoft has been granted the ‘Works with Windows Vista” logotype. The router sports the latest draft 11n technology which means wireless speeds up to 300Mbps. Something else that is new with this model is that also the WAN port has Gigabit support, together with the four other Ethernet ports. There is also QoS for both wired and wireless networks, together with WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption for the wireless connections. To further improve the security D-Link has equipped DIR-655 with two firewalls (SPI and NAT).
D-Link DIR-655 is available in stores today and costs about $140.
