SanDisk has now announced that it will lay off up to 10% of the workforce and that it will reduce salaries of administrative personnel. This comes from the fact that NAND flash prices have been going down by almost 50% the last few months. This will lead to reduced product costs and SanDisk hopes that is will lead to a more cost efficient organization and that it will grow even bigger and stronger through this.
