Grisoft has announced that it as the first company has been granted “Checkmark Certification on Windows Vista Business Edition” for its antivirus AVG. The security companies and Microsoft has hardly been agreed when it comes to Vista and the last time we reported about the disputes the third-party developers were disappointed with Microsoft’s late security fixes, but now the first alternative virus protection has been approved. This means that is capable of finding and removing viruses, and protect against other forms of malware, while also offering a complete protection against for example trojans. AVG is also one out very few antivirus protections that are free for home users.
