Previous information has pointed to a launch of the R600 graphics circuit at the end of March at CeBIT. Earlier today we at NH and the rest of the media that were invited to the launch event were informed that AMD has had to delay the press event and the launch of the R600 circuit. There were no specific details regarding why AMD has decided to delay the launch to the second quarter of 2007, but it’s clear it is not happy with the circuit it has today. This is course very sad news for the consumers, but of course a real setback for AMD/ATI. We can’t imagine this being anything but the right decision, but it’s still a shame that we will have to wait another coupe of weeks for R600. We will of course return with more information as it is presented.
