Samsung SyncMaster 940UX will be presented at CeBIT next month and this 19″ LCD monitor seem to be something special. SyncMaster 940UX may not be the best monitor on the market but it certainly has some unique properties which makes it stand up. The monitor namely lacks the regular video inputs like VGA and DVI, which makes one wonder how the video signal travels to the display. The answer is the universal interface USB. Samsung has namely equipped 940UX with a regular USB input which will receive the the video signal to make it easier to connect the monitor to your computer.

So far there is no information about how the video signals will be handled by the computer as, the lat time we checked, was a huge lack of graphics card with USB outputs. If it would turn out that the processor has to handle the video signal through the already power hungry USB format things could get a big too demanding. Samsung SyncMaster 940UX will hardly become a new enthusiast monitor, but we’re looking forward to hearing more about this USB monitor.
