Steve Ballmer has now repeated Microsoft’s threat against Linux regarding patent infringements. He says that Linux is infringing on intellectual property owned by Microsoft, but it has never presented exactly what patents Ballmer is talking about and apparently it is considering suing a number of Linux vendors. Ballmer emphasize that Linux isn’t free either, hinting of the suit, and despite that Windows may be more expensive to purchase it offers a lot more value. He continues to point out that Windows is doing well on the desktop market and that Microsoft hopes to grab more market shares on the web server and high-performance cluster market.
