RAM prices have been going down drastically during February and is now closing in on the manufacturing costs. This is according to information we’ve received from several sources, but one of the affected circuit manufacturers, Powerchip Semiconductor Corporation, claims that the prices will most likely rise again during the second half of 2007. The reason is simple, the demand will increase and this is mainly thanks to Windows Vista. Memory manufacturer Micron and it’s VP has also said that Vista will make RAM prices go up and the question is by how much and if we will be able to tell a difference. Now seems to be a great time to invest in RAM though.
