NVIDIA GeForce 7050-630A will be the answer to AMD’s new AMD 690G chipset, which has raised the bar for what you can call a decent integrated graphics circuit. NVIDIA will, not surprisingly, not just sit around and let AMD take control, but will instead launch its new MCP68 chipset. This series will introduce a new integrated graphics circuit, which is suppose to offer better 3D performance and HDCP compatibility. The launch of the chipsets are expected to happen later this month and during CeBIT, but already a few pictures of the first GeForce 7050-630A motherboards have appeared.
At OC Workbench they’ve published a couple of pictures of a motherboard from the manufacturer Zhiming, a microATX motherboard. Do notice the the very slim chipset cooler. Hopefully NVIDIA has managed to design a very energy efficient circuit despite the integrated graphics core. We’re looking forward to a comparison between AMD 690G and NVIDIA’s coming GeForce 7050 chipset.
