Intel puts Vista upgrade on hold

Windows Vista hasn’t exactly been flying off the shelves and despite that many consumers have decided to upgrade many companies are choosing not to. Security and a bug-free environment is of the utmost importance and therefore many have chosen to put their Vista upgrades on hold. Intel has through its VP Paul Otellini now announced that it will wait for Service Pack 1 to arrive before upgrading to Windows Vista, just like many others, according to Intel. We should perhaps mention that AMD is one of Microsoft’s biggest launch partners, but there is certainly a lot of truth behind the view of the business market on Windows Vista and new operating systems in general.
