LG has become one of the most active players on the LCD/Plasma TV market and it has now announced that it has taken yet another step in the development of real flatscreen TVs. It has namely slimmed its assortment of LCD and Plasma TVs, making them even flatter than before. LG has reduced the thickness of its flat TVs to 6.5-8cm, an average TV is about 10cm thick. This is a significant difference and should result in both slimmer and lighter TVs. The slimmer design will be applied all through LG’s assortment and the new TVs can be paired with LG’s new and specially designed wall mounts.
