DFI’s LANParty series of motherboards are often highly south-after by enthusiasts and overclockers. DFI equips its boards with loads of functions and overclocking settings, but at the same time this means that it doesn’t have time to launch LANParty motherboards based on all chipsets. According to TechReport, DFI is currently working on adding NVIDIA’s nForce 680i chipset to the LANParty series. It will also launch motherboards based on Intel’s own P965 chipset, but in the regular Infinity series. Interestingly, DFI may also be in the trade of manufacturing an NF680i LANParty board for PC builder HP. This will be used in gaming systems sold by the world’s second largest PC builder.
