Sony has now released the list many have been waiting for; the backwards compatibility list of PlayStation and PlayStation 2 games for the coming PlayStation 3. We’ve experienced more entertaining readings though as we still miss some of the most popular games and many, many are flagged as “Should play on PLAYSTATION®3 with some minor issues.” This include many of extremely popular Final Fantasy games. For some it’s even worse; the Pro Evolution Soccer games, Need for Speed series and FIFA games will apparently play with “noticeable issues”, but the NBA games should work just fine though and we all know how big basketball is compared to soccer in Europe. The list is long and it’s with some extremely mixed feelings (ranging from despair and terror to absolute joy) you look around for your favorite games.
