PlayStation 3 is available as two different versions, at least in North America and Japan; one “bigger” model with a 60GB harddrive and an integrated wireless network, and one smaller model with only a 20GB harddrive. In Europe we only have access to the more expensive model, in Sweden a lot more expensive. Rumors have been going around about a new model with an 80GB harddrive, after that it had been sighted at FCC, but why Sony would do this is pretty hard to understand as you can upgrade the harddrive for yourself without having to turn to Sony. If there’s anything else that’s new remains to be seen, but Sony has toned down the new 80GB console. Which could perhaps be so that it doesn’t anger the European buyers even more, now that they’ve finally been able to buy the console.
