The very ambitious project One Laptop Per Child has already gained a lot of attention and interests in the third world and that it has succeeded in building a laptop costing a mere 100 USD is nothing but impressive. The fact that a there are a lot of tailor-made solutions hardly comes as a surprise and the operating system is one of the things that has been specifically designed for the OLPC system. This Fedora Core GNU/Linux-based operating system has only been available with OLPC computers until now as it has been released as a download at Red Hat. The LiveCD available for download is only 291MB and is mainly intended for developers, but can also be used by regular users.
At LinuxQuestions there is a number of screenshots of the specially designed operating system and those who want to try it out can head over to Red Hat.
