Buffalo is a company best known for its external storage solutions and it has now moved up to the top stop of storage capacity list, right next to Hitachi, by launching a 1TB harddrive. Buffalo HD-H1.0TFBS2/3G is the name of the world’s second 1TB harddrive. Just like Hitachi 7K1000, Buffalo’s harddrives spins at 7200 RPM, NCQ support and use the 3.0Gbps SATA interface. The harddrive is expected to be launched in Japan at the end of April and the question is if when and where this 1TB harddrive will be sold. It’s nice to see that the 1TB harddrives are starting to gather though and we certainly hope there are more coming.
