Intel is continuously validating new DDR3 memories for its new Bearlake platform and we’ve already reported about how both Hynix and Micron have had their DDR3 modules approved by Intel. But now both Kingston and Samsung modules have been approved by Intel. Kingston says that its DDR3-1066 modules has been validated to work with Intel’s reference platform, this includes modules of both the HyperX and ValueRAM series. Samsung on the other hand is proud to announce that it now has 21 validated DDR3 solutions, this includes modules running at both 800MHz and 1066MHz. At the same time, Samsung seems to have come a long way with its DDR3-1333 modules, as it recently displayed a system with 8GB DDR3-1333, I.e. four 2GB DDR3-1333 modules.
