New MacBook Pros and iMacs at WWDC?

WWDC will open on June 11(-15) and as expected, the rumors about what Apple will present have started circulating. An analyst at Piper Jeffrey has said that he expects Apple to present new MacBook Pros and possibly even new iMacs. The main attraction is still expected to be Leopard, OS X 10.5, as Apple left many disappointed during the last event, when everything circulated around iPhone, and basically nothing about Leopard. Both MacBook Pro and iMac have been without a major update for longer than usual now, which makes it even more expected and not the least more believable.

Rumors of a new iMac appeared earlier this week, but according to this source the new iMacs would be close to a revolution, while others are expecting a lot less, a bit like the previous MacBook update. We will just have to what and see what will happen to MacBook Pro, but I wouldn’t expect anything major.

No one knows whether iPhone will get any time in the spotlight, but since the phone is expected to arrive in stores in June it would be weird if it didn’t at least get a few minutes on stage.
