OCZ and PC Power & Cooling have announced that the two will join forces and that PC P&C’s products will become a part of OCZ’ assortment immediately. Previously, OCZ has had to turn to other manufacturers for power supplies, but thanks to this acquisition it can now spend more time developing and assembling power supplies of its own, instead of rebranding FSP and Topower PSUs. PC P&C is known for its extremely powerful power supplies with outputs way over 1 kilowatt, but also the fact that it is the main PSU supplier for Dell.
“OCZ and PC Power & Cooling are both technology leaders that share a common passion for delivering premium solutions to consumers,” said Ryan Petersen, CEO of OCZ Technology Group. “By bringing these two established companies together we are able to leverage the strengths of each organization and accelerate the development of cutting edge products for a variety of markets. We believe that collectively OCZ and PC Power & Cooling will build on our combined heritage to revolutionize high end computing.”
This also means that PC P&C’s products will find their way outside of the USA, which made yours truly cartwheel through the living room, and we believe that there are quite many out there who feel the same way.
