ASUS has launched a new smartphone which, not surprisingly, focuses on communication and ASUS has presented its new M530w device as a communication central from which you can send and receive messages anytime, anywhere. ASUS M530w Smart Phone is based on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 and uses the integrated Windows Live Messenger for chatting when travelling. The phone also sports Push E-mail which makes it possible to download e-mail from the user’s Outlook server.
“Another useful mail function of the ASUS M530w is its support for various Mail Server systems (POP3, IMAP4, Microsoft Exchange, BlackBerry4.0). Even if the user goes abroad, different mail servers will not hinder them from being connected and updated with work mails – allowing them to work more efficiently. Additionally, the QWERTY keypad is identical to the computer keyboard counterpart – allowing users who are more accustomed to English to conveniently type in their messages for smoother communications.”
ASUS M530w also supports wireless networking through the 802.11b/g protocols and has an integrated 3G web camera, and a 2.0 Mpixel auto-focus camera. The computation power is delivered through a 416MHz Marvell PXA270 processor and the 2.4″ display can display up to 65K colors at 320×240 pixels.
