Dell is doing everything it can to regain the position as the leading PC builder on the market. Dell has launched several new products and sales channels, but has also started looking at the expenses and the workforce. Michael Dell has namely announced that at least 7,000 employees will be axed and even if was a hard decision to make, it’s necessary to get the company moving again. Exactly which jobs that will be affected by the 10% workforce reduction wasn’t revealed, but Dell has large offices in both the USA and throughout Asia and Europe. It’s clear though, that Dell isn’t afraid of going to the source of the problem to maintain its position and perhaps even grow as a company.
