A while back, Apple released Boot Camp that allowed Mac users to install Windows on their Macs right next to Mac OS X. The next step has now been revealed and this time Apple is getting inside of Microsoft’s operating system. Apple has namely announced that all Windows users can now use Safari. Apple has published an official beta (although it should be called pre-alpha) of Safari 3 that can be used with both Mac OS X, Windows XP and Windows Vista. Apple claims that Safari is the world’s fastest browser on all platforms and other features that Apple boost are integrated RSS reader, tabbed browsing, pop-up blocker etc.

Confirmed Safari users or Windows users that simply wants to try something new (although we recommend you not to at this stage) can download Safari 3 from Apple’s website. Our experiences so far have been pretty excruciating, but don’t hesitate to share your experiences if you dare to try it.
