We’ve had it confirmed that the European release date of the Xbox 360 Elite is August 24th. A Nordic retailer has revealed and already posted the console for preordering and says that it will arrive on August 24th. The Xbox 360 Elite costs 4699 SEK, which should translate into €479/£349. The main differences between the Elite and the regular flavor of Xbox 360 are that the first has a genuine digital video interface in the form of HDMI and a much bigger harddrive; 120GB. To give the console an extra exclusive feeling Microsoft has painted the entire console and the controller black. One month Xbox Live Gold subscription is included in the price.
