Sony is certainly doing everything it can to gain some momentum again as it has now decided to follow up its price cut and the new 80GB version with a new Starter pack. The thing is though, that the price cut and 80GB console was for North America, while the Starter pack is launched in Europe, which is quite nice as we were starting to wonder whether Sony had forgotten about us. The price of the pack will be $599, just like the regular version here, but it comes with an extra controller and two games, MotorStorm and Resistance Fall of Man. At the same time, it has been officially announced that the 60GB version will be phased out in North America and be replaced by the 80GB version. This will bring the price back up to $599 again.
