DFI engineer Oskar-Wu decided to share some of his progress with the new DFI P35-T2R and we have to say that we are quite impressed with how the new board handles. With the processor cooled by a compressor cascade he managed to reach 666MHz FSB, although not benchmark stable. Lowering the FSB to 660MHz he managed to complete a SuperPi 1M run (660×6) at 12.719s. Using regular air cooling the board is suppose to be capable of more than 600MHz FSB. The high FSB result was later polished by AndreYang to 672.5MHz just a few moments later.
